A collaborative event with the World African Researchers, Engineers, Entrepreneurs, and Scientists Alliance (WARESA) for the WARESA Oceania Event 2025, taking place 28–29 November 2025 at the University of Melbourne.

The event on 28 November will be held in person, and the program on 29 November will run over Zoom.

This will be our final major event of the year, and we invite all members to join us.

The program will include:

• WARESA Oceania Awards

• 6th Multidisciplinary International Research Conference (MIREC)

• 5-Minute Research Competition

This event celebrates African achievement and scholarly work across our region, following earlier editions held in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Germany, France, and Canada.
